Beaches and restaurants. Dendrary Botanical Garden (Dendrarium).

Dendrarium is the major sight of Sochi. With typical subtropical flora it extends along the mountainside. A rope-way runs throughout the Garden, so you can view the splendid scenery of this green city. On the highest point of Sochi there is a huge aquarium in the open air, which contains almost all of the inhabitants of the Black Sea, except dolphins. The dolphins live in the Delphinarium (Delfinarium, Dolfinarium) which is also open to tourists.  In Dendrarium you can also see African ostriches, furthermore you can even ride them for an extra charge!

2014 Olympic Games will be taken in the suburbs of Sochi, at a place called ‘The Red Glade’.
